Al fresco dining is truly one of life’s best things. A simple, timeless pleasure. It gives you that holiday feeling even when at home.
That’s probably why everybody loves it so much.
As Italians, alfresco dining is part of our chilled and relaxed lifestyle.
There is very few things better than sitting outside in the sun enjoying a glass and some food. The perfect food to eat in this occasion are antipasti, mozzarella, olives, fresh vegetables and bread.. something light and easy to accompany with a fresh white wine or a glass of prosecco.
Al fresco dining is like picnicking but better. It is an upgraded and elevated picnic setting, with a proper table and comfy chairs.
Despite not having the same weather they have in Italy all summer, our little North East occasionally gets sunny days and high temperatures over the summer months.
Those are the days we long for all year round. And when they finally appear, here we are determined to make the most out of them.
For all those times you wanted to go out for a nice meal and sit outside, and you couldnt think of a place in town with an al fresco dining area… well now you’ll have to keep us in mind!
Our lovely outside area is the perfect sun trap fo a perfect alfresco dining in Jesmond.
We have a decked patio with tables, chairs and wooden benches. No risk of getting burnt thanks to big parasols, which still allow the sun to come in and warm the atmosphere.
And on our menus you can find some dishes that are perfect for this – pick from our starters like Caprese salad with Bufala di Battipaglia, imported directly from Italy. Or why not, a delicous bruschetta with tomatoes, refreshing and filling. When the weather is nice, we suggest eating fish, which is lighter than meat and will leave you satsfied but not sleepy. Also, if you pick a fish dish, you have one more excuse to accompany your meal with one of our vibrant white wines – check the full wine list on our website.
If you fancy joining us for a meal ask to be seated outside and enjoy your meal al fresco!
